Oddball is a digital experience powerhouse that strives to create unique employer and
customer branding experiences for their clients. At Oddball I am the technical architect and
the team lead of the team that builds all the digital experiences.
Right out of school I started with AE as a Front End Engineer and Experience consultant. In these first years of my professional carreer I worked for several project where I was responsible for bringing their front end applications to the next level using technology stacks. I coached the development teams to get to know these new and emerging technologies and I took the User Experience design upon myself when there was no dedicated UX team involved.
At Fluxys they decided to upgrade their software landscape to the next level. A colleague and myself were tasked to shape their new front-end architecture and to coach the existing development teams into this new way of working.
At Deutsche Bank they struggled with a particular very poorly performing and client facing
application. Me and three colleagues proposed a set of performance quick wins in order to
limit the damage and make the application usable again.
At Ravago we were tasked to transform a monolithic application that managed their sales and distribution flow into a more modern micro service and web technology based set of applications. I mainly took the front end and the user experience upon myself throughout this project.
In 2017 Eneco bought Eni. As a result of this, a re-branding needed to be done on their
applications to fit the Eneco style guide. I was given this task in my final months on the
project.
As a front-end engineer at Eni Gas and Power I was responsible for the way our users experienced the B2B applications and how these applications were built. Different technologies
like ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS and SASS were used on a daily basis to create pleasant,
useful applications that provide real value to the business services.
At Alligence I was responsible for testing new equipment and technologies (like the Leap Motion, Oculus Rift, Multitaction Multitouch Screens, LED Walls, Neo4J Graph Databases,...)
to check if they could be used in future products.
